The federal individual income tax deadline has been extended to Monday, May 17, 2021.
This revised deadline allows this extra time to file your federal income tax returns and pay any balances due to the federal government without penalties or interest.
While there have been no announcements made by state and local governmental agencies, we expect them to follow suit and also extend those deadlines to May 17 since they require the federal income tax returns to be attached to their tax returns when filed.
We are maintaining our normal work schedule and will not be delaying any of the work that comes into our office because of this revised tax deadline.
If you haven’t sent in your tax data, please do so as soon as possible. If you aren’t going to use our firm to prepare your 2020 tax returns, please contact us.
We appreciate your business!
